COUNCILLOR WELCOMES EXTENSION OF LDF CONSULTATION DEADLINE TO 17TH APRIL 2009

Cllr Nicola Turner (Lib Dem, Colne Valley Ward) has today welcomed the decision to extend the LDF consultation deadline by two weeks until the 17th April 2009.
Cllr Nicola Turner said:
"I've been contacted by lots of residents concerned about the timescale of the consultation and am very pleased that it has now been extended. Decisions made now are going to affect development in the borough for many years to come; so it is vital that as many residents as possible are given the chance to have their say".
