New planting will keep pedestrians safe

Almondbury Ward Councillor Linda Wilkinson is delighted that the Council has decided to fund new planters outside the HSBC in Northgate Almondbury.
Almondbury Ward Councillor Linda Wilkinson is delighted that the Council has decided to fund new planters outside the HSBC in Northgate Almondbury.
"I am delighted that the Council is funding these planters. There has been a terrible problem with thoughtless drivers parking on and driving across the pavement. This has made it very unsafe for pedestrians" says Councillor Linda Wilkinson. "Let's hope that drivers will now act in a much more responsible manner and find somewhere safe to park that doesn't interfere with people walking on the pavements. The planters will also make a welcome improvement to Northgate making it a much more attractive place for people who live and work in the area."
