COUNCILLOR APPOINTED AS TRUSTEE OF CHARITABLE FUND UNTIL 2010

Cllr Linda Wilkinson (Lib Dem, Almondbury Ward) has been appointed as a trustee of the Charles Brook Convalescent Fund until 2010.

The appointment was made at the Huddersfield South Area Committee meeting in October.
The charity, which operates in the Huddersfield area, provides grants and financial support to people who need help when leaving hospital.
"I am very happy to have been made a trustee of this charitable trust" says Cllr Wilkinson "The support they provide to needy to people in the area when they leave hospital is extremely important and I am very much looking forward to working with the fund committee over four the next four years".
